A few words from CANCERactive
"We´re in this together
Help us, help people like you beat cancer.
Our aim is to empower people by providing them with information - ALL the information - including complementary, alternative and new therapies used effectively elsewhere in the world so they can make more informed choices and thus increase their personal chances of beating this disease. Some US experts believe this can increase survival by as much as 60 per cent.
But we have no hidden backers, no wealthy pharmaceutical companies, no vested interests behind us, unlike other UK charities. And it may mean we can give you the Whole Truth on therapies and causes but it also means we don´t get the funding some other charities receive. Our independent voice comes at a cost, and sadly, no one wants to fund us. So that leaves you. You are vitally important to us.
Frankly we cannot help people like you, if you cannot help us. We´re in this together.
OUR PROMISE: The money goes where it matters
You can be sure every penny you give helps people. Our Trustees and Directors take no money at all for their work. How many big cancer charities can say the same?

Because we recognise that we are in this together, we would like to offer you something in return.
Many people donate 2 pounds sterling every month to their favourite charity. Obviously you can make a donation of any amount and we will be extremely grateful, as it will help us provide this ´total information´ that really can make a difference to a life.
However, if you have a monthly Direct Debit or 3 pounds sterling* or more, we will send you all copies of icon magazine to a UK address in the week they are produced. You will never miss a copy. It´s our little extra to say ´Thank you´.
Please note: For residents outside the UK please donate a minimum of:
- £4 per month on Direct Debit - Rest of Europe
- £5.59 per month on Direct Debit - Rest of world
And if you donate over 5 pounds sterling per month on Direct Debit we will send you every icon and you can receive a 10 per cent discount on Natural Selection´s Products of Choice. You just claim this by ringing our office in order to get a year´s membership - and let us know if you want to receive the magazine (We´re sorry the post costs so much!)." |
